Spray Away Exterior Cleaning is a local, owner-operated business based in Waimauku, serving homes and businesses right across the Rodney District, West Auckland and the North Shore. When you book us, you deal directly with the person doing the work — no call centres, no subcontractors, no shortcuts.
We believe there's a right way to clean every surface, and we match the method to the job. Roofs and cladding get a gentle soft wash, never a damaging high-pressure blast. Timber is brought back to life with our own bleach-free solution rather than blasted. Windows are finished with a pure water system, and concrete is protected with an invisible penetrating sealer. It's the difference between a quick wash and a job done properly.
Regular exterior cleaning does more than look good — it protects your biggest investment, keeps algae spores down around your home, and lifts your kerb appeal. We turn up when we say we will, tidy up after ourselves, and treat every property like it's our own. We're not happy until you are.

How often should I get my house washed?
Most Auckland homes are washed once a year to keep them looking fresh and to keep algae spores down. Depending on how much sun or shade your cladding gets, some homes can go up to two years between washes.
How long does a house wash take?
It varies with the cladding type, the size of the house and the water flow at your property, but a typical house wash takes around 1–3 hours with our equipment.
Are your cleaning products safe for plants, pets and the environment?
Yes. We take real care to protect your plants and property, and our cleaning solutions — used correctly — won't harm your home, garden or pets.
Will you get rid of the green algae on my cladding?
Yes — removing that "green stuff" is exactly what we do. Soft washing doesn't just clear the algae, it kills it, so it stays away far longer than a plain water blast.
Does house washing add value to my home?
It usually does. A clean exterior lifts your kerb appeal and first impression — which is why we're often called in just before a home goes on the market.
Do I need to be home during the service?
No. If you're not home when we finish, just have a look around once you're back and let us know you're happy with the result.
What happens if it rains on the day?
We wash in most weather. If it's raining heavily we may postpone to our next available day — we'll get in touch on the day if anything needs to change.
